The referral-fee model matters because it aligns incentives. AgeProofPros only makes money when a family is matched with a contractor they actually hire. We do not make money by selling the same lead to five contractors, because we never sell leads to multiple contractors in the first place.
The matched contractor's quote is not marked up to cover our fee. The contractor pays the referral fee out of their own margin on a project they would otherwise have spent customer-acquisition dollars on through paid search or directory listings. Networking through AgeProofPros is typically cheaper for a CAPS-certified pro than paid lead generation, so the math works for them without inflating your quote.
If you receive a quote and decide not to hire the matched contractor, you owe nothing — to them, to us, to anyone. The free assessment is genuinely free.
