These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ageproofpros.com and the lead-matching service operated by AgeProofPros (“AgeProofPros,” “we,” “us”). By submitting the lead form or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What AgeProofPros is, and isn't
AgeProofPros is a matching service. We connect homeowners with vetted local contractors in our network. We do not perform any contracting work ourselves; we do not warrant any contractor's work; we do not collect payment for contractor services.
When we match you with a contractor, the resulting business relationship is between you and that contractor. Their quote, scope, pricing, warranty, and execution are their responsibility.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract to use this service. You must provide accurate information in the lead form. Submitting false information (including someone else's contact details without permission) is a breach of these Terms.
3. The matching process
When you submit a request:
- We route it to a CAPS-certified contractor in our network who serves your ZIP code.
- The contractor contacts you, performs a free assessment, and sends a written quote.
- You decide whether to hire them, there is no obligation to accept their quote.
We do not guarantee a specific match time. Most requests are routed within hours; some specialty requests or remote ZIP codes may take longer. If we cannot match your request within 7 days, we will notify you.
4. Cost
The matching service is free for homeowners. Contractors in our network pay us a referral fee only when they win your business. You will never be charged by AgeProofPros for using the service.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact information.
- Treat matched contractors professionally; do not abuse the service to harass or defraud them.
- Evaluate any quote on its own merits. We recommend obtaining at least one alternative quote before signing a contract for significant work.
- Read and sign your own contract with the contractor, we are not a party to that contract.
6. Contractor disclaimers
Every contractor in our network is vetted at the time of admission for CAPS certification, licensing, insurance, and a clean background check. Despite this, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome of work performed by any contractor. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, timeliness, or completion of contractor work.
- Pricing disputes between you and the contractor.
- Property damage, injury, or other consequences arising from contractor work.
- Failure of a contractor to honor their own warranty.
If you have a complaint about a matched contractor, submit the form on our homepage with “Contractor complaint” in the notes. We investigate every complaint within 5 business days and remove contractors from the network for confirmed quality or conduct issues.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGEPROOFPROSIS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM ANY CONTRACTOR'S PERFORMANCE OF WORK. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so this limitation may not apply to you in full.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AgeProofPros, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your use of the service in violation of applicable law, or (c) your false or misleading submissions.
9. Intellectual property
The AgeProofPros name, logo, website design, copy, and all original content are the property of AgeProofPros. You may not copy, reproduce, or use these for commercial purposes without written permission. Linking to public pages on ageproofpros.com is permitted.
10. Modifications
We may update these Terms as our service or applicable law changes. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which AgeProofPros is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in that state, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer-protection law in your state.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
