More detail
Coverage is determined by ZIP, and rural ZIPs are mapped to the nearest network contractor who serves the area. Response time is sometimes longer in remote regions simply because the contractor has more travel time built into their schedule, but the matching itself is the same one-pro process.
If no network contractor currently serves your ZIP, we tell you up front before any routing happens. We do not pretend to have coverage we do not have. In that case we will note your request and reach out if a CAPS-certified pro joins the network in your area.
For very remote or hard-to-reach areas, the assessment can sometimes be done remotely via video while a separate local handyman performs the actual installation under the CAPS contractor's specification. This is not the typical pattern but it is a valid option for areas with no in-person CAPS-certified availability.
